Boden sundress, size 14

giant flowers!

hello, button detailing!

What is it? Giant flower print Boden shift style sundress.

What's the label size?
14R (regular length, not petite)

Measurements, please?
bust
(taken flat across): 20"
hip: 22"
length (from top of shoulder to hem): 38.5"

What's it made of? 100% cotton, lined in 100% cotton; machine wash (yes!) warm

Some details: The colors of this dress...the print...the style...all killer. I love the sunny tangerine and magenta print, and the cute details like the textured cotton (it's almost like a soft barkcloth) and the adorable buttons at the waist (see the picture, please!). It has a flattering, gentle v-neck in the front and the back.
Boden does it right all the time- high quality clothing that lasts for a long time.

This dress worn once, washed and line dried, and looks lovely!

How much? $40 shipped.

***SOLD!!*** Thank you so much!

The lovely front...ah, those tulips!

...and the ripped seam. It's about 2.5 inches long.

Same seam, straight up and down. That's my thumb (bandaged) to the left for some perspective.
Hello! I've had some questions about the Wye Valley dress, so I'm doing what I should have done straight away (duh): post pictures!

This dress needs a tiny bit of help from the tailor's needle, as some threads have come loose and started to unravel the seam just below the left hand pocket, running along the zipper.

Here's what I have to say about this- It's an easy fix. Were my ribcage smaller (ahem!) and this dress fit, I would fix it myself. As it's a fix along the seam, not a big deal (and really, were I willing to invest, I'd make this a skirt because I love the pattern THAT MUCH, but I digress).

My sewing skills, however, are minimal, and I feel that if I'm going to sell someone this dress I should either have it fixed professionally (and up the price of the dress), or give the buyer the option of having it fixed by her tailor, or fix it herself (if you happen to be handy with a needle!) and charge less.

I'm thinking $40 for the dress. It has been worn once for a wedding and was dry cleaned after. I didn't wear it at all last year, so I have no clue when the seam started to come undone. Was it the dry cleaner? Was it my hefty use of the pocket? I will never know. What I do know is that this Maeve dress is a gem from the Anthropologie days of yore.

REDUCED PRICE! Charles Nolan suede pumps, size 39

What do we have here?
Charles Nolan, green suede with gold leather accents platform pumps
.

Size
: 39 M (fits an 8.5, 9) I wear a nine, and these fit nicely.

Composition
: Suede with leather accents; made in Italy

Why am I getting rid of these?
Dear Internet, I have a problem. That problem includes buying cute clothes that don't quite fit and SHOES that are not okay for my feet. I have terrible arch problems and am restricted to wearing either Birkenstocks (which I love, don't get me wrong) or shoes that can fit my big ol' orthotic inserts. These shoes are beautiful, unworn, green suede maryjane style. The platform is about 1/2 inch, the heel is about 4". They have an elastic band that helps stretch the maryjane strap. They remind me a lot, in color, of a pair that Anthropologie sold a few years back. These retail for around $300 (yow!).

How much? $50, $35 plus shipping.
